ILSPA is delighted to launch our new website. After months of planning, preparations, and the wonderful work of our design and IT team, our vision has become a reality.
Our new site has been designed with our visitors, Members and Students in mind. We have aimed to make the site easier to navigate and have presented information in a way which is clearer, more accessible and visually appealing.
You can find new information about our team in the ‘About Us’ section, and a section called ‘The Profession’ has been created to help people understand the legal profession and the role of Legal Secretaries and PAs. Within our training and Membership sections, information has been presented concisely in attractive and user-friendly accordions. Informative articles from our Legal Secretary Journal appear throughout the website to support the information provided in each page.
Our course material is now available online and can be accessed through the Membership area of our website. Students can download whatever unit of the course they want to work on whenever they like. The course will be kept regularly updated online, so it will eliminate the need for Students to request updated course material from us.
ILSPA Members and Students have access to a fantastic new Membership area called ‘My Membership’. To help them in their studies and careers, Members and Students will find a wealth of resources which have been presented on specially designed pages such as Guidance to Secure Employment, Continuing Professional Development, IT Tips and Advice, Legal News, Blogs and Journals, and ILSPA Members’ Experiences.
Our Student Resources section includes the online course material as well as information about our Royal Courts of Justice, Study Advice, Students’ Experiences, a Guide to the Internet and how to apply for an NUS Extra Card to receive discounts.
